Online Muslim Matrimonial Services. The process of Muslim Matrimony

Muslim matrimonial ceremonies often take place in a very planned and organized manner. There is a special ambience about the entire ordeal, and they proceed in a very coordinated manner. Primarily, the event comprises of two basic steps. Firstly, the bride and the groom enter a state of being engaged. The second step involves the two getting married and the groom taking away the bride with her.

Contrary to what the media would have you believe, finding your soul mate is not as difficult as you might think. We see on the television and in Hyderabad Rishtey movies how two people, who have never met each other, fall in love in a dramatic manner and then, as the story progresses, something special happens between them, and they end up getting married and living happily ever after. This may be true, to some extent, but in real life, things do not happen in such a dramatic manner. If you are a nice person, and are patient enough, you will definitely find your soul mate.

Recently, a variety of useful online resources have been launched in this regard. Simply put, they offer a platform where people looking for a soul mate can meet together and talk with each other. These are match-making websites and are specifically dedicated to Muslim matrimonial services. Here, Muslim people who are planning to get married can search for and find a suitable partner based on their likes and interest.

On these matrimonial websites, initial registration is mostly offered free of charge. This is to encourage more people to become a part of the community. During the initial trial period, users are free to experience all the services provided by the match-making site. After the trial period ends, they are charged a reasonably small amount for those services.

While on the Muslim matrimonial match-making website, users can upload their photographs for others to see. These sites have very strict privacy policies regarding their customers. They provide help and troubleshooting services both on the telephone as well as on e-mail. If you are interested in knowing more about someone, you can contact them by requesting it on the website. The administrator will then provide you with the contact details that the other person has allowed to be shared on the website. In this way, you can get in touch with the person you are interested in, and get to know them better. Hopefully, the other person will also show an interest in you, and as the saying goes, you can live together ‘happily ever after’.

The Islamic law governs the Muslim marriages and there are three religious processes that unite a man and woman under the institution of marriage. The process are the Nikah, Dukhlah and Walimah as per the writing in the Quran. The marriage process does not contain any engagement ceremony like those found in the other cultures. The uniting of the man and the woman is a very short process.

This is a very short ceremony that will bring together the man and the woman legally in the presence of the two witnesses and imam. The process is sanctified through the delivery of khutbah sermon by the Imam. The Groom will have to sign a contract after he accepts the dowry given to him by the bride. Though the process is very short but this is the major one that legally binds the man and the woman in a relationship.

This is the next ceremony after the marriage wherein the bride and the groom are sent off to live together. This ceremony is also known by other name as Rukhsati in India and Pakistan. This process is done rather lavishly and involves huge spending from both the sides. Though the actual marriage is a small process this in fact adds up to lot of glamour and money as well. This helps the bride and the groom to get to know each other and spend some time also.

This is the final ceremony of the Muslim marriage as per the Islamic law. It usually takes place two days after the Dukhlah ceremony. It’s a feast given in favour of the bride and grooms to officially announce the wedding. Dinner or lunch is organised and all the relatives are invited to let them know about the marriage. It involves a huge gathering of friends, relatives and others of both the bride and the groom. The families of the bride groom will make an official announcement about the marriage. The bride and the groom will then change the engagement rings to their left hand from right hand. There will be lot of dance and music and other entertainment in the Walimah function. People will be in a celebration mood during the Walimah and the relatives will also take part in the dance and music. In Oman, the bride and the groom will be seated in separate places during the walimah function and is a very formal ceremony.
